Tori McConnachie
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Tori is a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals ages 3+ feel confident, secure, and empowered. She specializes in working with children and adolescents as well as their families, supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges, big emotions, and difficult behaviors.
Tori takes a holistic approach, believing that therapy should provide a safe and supportive space that honors each individual’s strengths, while encouraging creativity, playfulness, and connection. She tailors treatment to the unique needs of each client and family, using a combination of evidence-based approaches in which she is trained, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). She also has level one training in Theraplay and is pursuing certification in Traumaplay.
Tori considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in their healing and growth, and she values the opportunity to support them as they move toward greater confidence and well-being.
